“Theriaca” in De Materia Medica

Dioscorides. Περι υλης ιατρικης. (Venice: Aldus Manutius, Romanus, July 1499)
This page features part of a pharmacological poem “Theriaca” in Greek by Nicander, another noted Greek physician, in Dioscorides’ De Materia Medica.
This first Greek edition of Dioscorides was printed by Aldus Manutius, as was the case for so many Greek authors.
