NNLM Webinar: Five Questions You Can Answer with NCBI Protein and Structure Databases. NLM Tech Bull. 2017 Jul-Aug;(417):b2.
On July 26, 2017, the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) will present the Webinar, "Five Questions you can answer with NCBI Protein and Structure Databases."
Protein sequences are the fundamental determinants of biological structure and function. This Webinar shows how to use the Protein and Structure Databases from NCBI to find information about the biological structure and function of proteins.
In this Webinar, you will learn about the Protein and Structure databases and how to use them to answer the following questions*:
A basic familiarity with genetics vocabulary will be helpful in understanding this Webinar. For a review, see The New Genetics, an educational booklet by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS).
