New Grant Funding Organizations for MEDLINE/PubMed from Europe PMC, HRA and DHS

In spring 2018, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) will start receiving grant funding information from a new Europe PubMed Central (Europe PMC) organization, the Health Research Alliance (HRA), and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). 

Starting April 2018, the Europe PMC Swiss National Science Foundation in Switzerland will begin supplying grant funding data to NLM.

The Health Research Alliance will submit funding data from three United States organizations:

• Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance (TSA)
• Cancer Research Institute (CRI)
• National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF)

The Department of Homeland Security will provide funding data from the following:

• Domestic Detection Office
• Federal Emergency Management Agency
• Custom and Border Patrol/Laboratories and Scientific Services
• United States Secret Service/Forensic Services Division
• Science and Technology/Research and Development Partnerships/Office of University Partnerships
• Science and Technology/Research and Development Partnerships/Office of National Laboratories
• Science and Technology Capability Development Support/Office of Test and Evaluation/Transportation Security Laboratory

Funding information provided by these organizations will be added to MEDLINE/PubMed citations through the NIH Manuscript Submission System (NIHMS) and the Europe PMC Plus system only.
