The RxNorm June 2023 monthly release became available on Monday, June 5, 2023. There are no major data changes to report.

As a courtesy to customers, this section provides advance notice of possible upcoming RxNorm data changes. More information about each change will be provided or repeated in the future. Please note that planned data changes and timelines may change if issues arise.
Test Files with new RxNorm Terminology Term Types (TTYs) will be available July 3, 2023
As previously announced, RxNorm will add three new TTYs by fall/winter 2023 at the earliest. These new TTYs will improve the RxNorm model for medications using precise ingredients as the basis of strength substance.
To help stakeholders prepare for the change, test files with new TTYs will be available on July 3, 2023. A URL to the test files will be available in the RxNorm July monthly release announcement email and the RxNorm July 2023 full release notes, barring any issues. The test files will be available through the end of August 2023.
