In a breezy letter to readers of the prestigious Boston Medical Surgery Journal, author “W.L.” recounts a recent visit to the Army Medical Library and Museum. W.L. describes seeing what today would be called a “pop-up” exhibition, featuring new acquisitions: medical pamphlets from the private library of Claude Bernard.
