MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the National Library of Medicine Office of Acquisitions is to

• proactively deliver to the public and our internal customers world class acquisition services in accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Health and Human Services Acquisition Regulations and the NIH guidelines and policies of the National Library of Medicine; and
• award effective contracts for the dissemination of health-related information, information technology,and health-related research and development.
