DOCLINE® Version 2.0 Directs Users to Full Text Articles Available at Producer Sites | ||
he latest release of DOCLINE, Version 2.0, features links from DOCLINE and Loansome Doc® via PubMed® to free full text articles whenever the article requested is available either in PubMed Central or at the producer site. In DOCLINE and in Loansome Doc®, the "***Free at Producer Site***" (see Figure 1), "***Free at Producer Site (Registration Required)***" (see Figure 2), and "***Free in PubMed Central***" (see Figure 3) links now take users directly to the full text article. Note: In a few cases, the link will take the user to the abstract, and then the user must click on another link to access the full text of the article. The display and number of clicks required to get to the article depend on how each producer has set up access. In the following example, the user would have to click on the PDF link (see Figure 4).
